Niall Horan sings Justin Bieber's 'Baby' (Video) - Gather Celebs News Channel

Niall Horan was a big Justin Bieber fan back before One Direction existed, and now there's video proof of his love for the Canadian crooner.

In an unearthed video taken from the days when Niall was dreaming of becoming a solo star, the Irish crooner is shown strumming a guitar and singing "Baby" at The X Factor bootcamp. According to Sugarscape, Niall's fellow The X Factor contestant John D'Ambrosio is responsible for delighting Directioners by posting the old video.

While Niall doesn't have all of his 1D band mates around to support him in the vid, he is surrounded by a big group of guys who join in every now and then (only at The X Factor boot camp is it acceptable for a bunch of dudes to sit around and sing Justin Bieber songs). Niall shows off his guitar-playing skills, and at the very beginning of the video, someone very important makes an appearance—Liam Payne!

Eight seconds in, D'Ambrosio pans over to show Liam watching Niall Horan and his pals sing. He's sporting the Biebs' old hairstyle, and he looks just a little jealous. Perhaps he was thinking, "I know you are not trying to play the acoustic version of my hero's hit song!" But he eventually quits being a diva and sits down right behind Niall, and of course he starts singing along; it's physically impossible not to sing along to "Baby," after all.

It's pretty crazy that the guys had no idea that they'd go on to perform at the Olympics as part of the biggest boy band in the world or that they'd actually get to meet Justin Bieber someday. And who knows? Maybe one day One Direction will be even bigger than the Biebs.
