Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may have a thing for sushi dates, but on Saturday, the "Boyfriend" singer was noticeably without his girlfriend when he went out for the raw treat. But there's nothing fishy going on! Instead, Bieber took out his family, including his tattoo-heavy father Jeremy (it's obvious where the Biebs gets his love of ink!), his stepmother and his half-siblings Jazmyn and Jaxon, to Sushi Dan, in Studio City, Calif. Oh, and his bodyguard accompanied them, too, of course. The chain restaurant has also seen Jelena there together, but this time, no romantic PDA was on the menu—only some family fun!

Gomez has lately been busy smooching her on-screen co-star, Nat Wolff, for her upcoming Parental Guidance movie. So perhaps the 18-year-old pop sensation needed a bit of distraction to keep his mind off the fact that his lips aren't currently the only ones on his girl. Hopefully, the Hot Night Roll, the Crunchy Spice Tuna and the Naked Salmon did the trick.

And little Jaz and Jax probably helped his Gomez-less situation, too. They're pretty adorable! And they have a pretty cool older bro, who never seems too busy to spend time with them. He has been spotted entertaining them on the beach, at Chuck E. Cheese and more (often with Gomez by his side!).

Sushi seems to be the way to go in Hollywood, even for the much younger set, although they may order something more kid-friendly than a spicy tuna roll with wasabi. Kourtney Kardashian's partner, Scott Disick, has recently taken his toddler son to Nobu for a boys' day out and Kylie Jenner just celebrated her 15th birthday with friends and family, including Kourtney's new baby Penelope, at the same place.

But, for Justin Bieber, his lunch date without Selena Gomez wasn't complete without a bit of shopping, as Daily Mail confirms. Multitasking at its finest! He was already rocking a hip-hop-edgy ensemble, complete with camo shorts, a white T-shirt and a red baseball cap with matching bright red trainers. And he may have gotten a few more basics to add to his wardrobe when he hit up American Apparel—his bodyguard took care of his bag, naturally.
