Justin Bieber will make a cameo on an episode of The Simpsons, playing himself as a fan who can’t get in to watch Bart Simpson’s piano recital.
The “Boyfriend” superstar will play himself alongside Homer and the gang in an episode titled “The Fabulous Faker Boy,” Simpsons Executive Producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly Wednesday.
“He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in — and they won’t admit him. Draw your own conclusions.”
The Bieber episode will air sometime next year. The episode’s title is a play on the 1989 musical drama The Fabulous Baker Boys — starring real-life brothers Jeff Bridges and Beau Bridges as two brothers struggling to make a living as lounge jazz pianists in Seattle.
Justin is one of many famous faces set to appear on The Simpsons this season. Other high-profile guests slated for the upcoming season include Steve Carell, Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway, Edward Norton and Natalie Portman.
The Simpsons will premiere its 24th season Sept. 30.
