'Most Share-Worthy Video' has been added to the MTV Video Music Awards for 2012.
The first nominations for the award are One Direction with 'What Makes You Beautiful', Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend', Beyonc?'s 'Countdown', Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' and Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know'.

"Whose video was so big it had the entire Internet buzzing?" MTV asked.
"Tweet your vote for the music video that proved so impactful that fans couldn't help but make their own shareable versions."
Users click links on the MTV page to tweet #voteonedirection, #votebieber, #votebeyonce, #votecarlyrae or #votegotye.
Other nominees confirmed for the 2012 awards include Drake, Rihanna, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Frank Ocean and MIA.
